Americans Ridicule Trump As Biden Edges Closer To Victory (Pictures) - Foreign Affairs -Cyclergist

White House security fence is covered in signs telling Trump he has lost as Biden is on track to win the presidency

A temporary security fence outside the White House has been covered in signs, with many calling President Donald Trump a 'loser' and demanding he leave the Oval Office.

Federal law enforcement officials revealed a 'non-scalable' fence was being added outside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in an effort to increase security ahead of Election Day.

Since then, dozens of posters and placards have been pasted across the entire perimeter.

One section of the fence has seven posters that make up a rectangle with the word 'loser' written in different colors and different fonts on each one.

Another section has a pink sign that reads: 'Eviction Notice' next to another stating: 'Count Every Vote,' referring to President Trump's efforts to stop votes from being counted in states where he was ahead.

It comes as Democratic nominee Joe Biden edged ahead in Pennsylvania and Georgia, drawing closer to the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the presidency.

Another sign was sprawled on the ground in front of the fence, reading: 'Trump, Tear Down Your Wall. One Hope, One People. United We Stand.'

Nearby, someone printed out the lyrics to a song from the Broadway musical Hamilton titled 'The Story of Tonight.'

One protester even stuck a Trump mask to the wall, giving him a toothbrush mustache, the same style worn by Adolf Hitler, and writing inside a speech bubble: 'I like scat sex.'

Others attached scarecrow-like models at the top of the fence, such as one wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt with 'Trump Pence #OutNow' printed on it.

Some of the signs weren't directed at Trump himself. A number of them read: 'Black Lives Matter' or the names of Black men and women who have been killed by cops, such as George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

One sign encouraged people to join Campaign Zero, a reform campaign designed to end police violence and brutality in America.

Supporters also showed up carrying their own signs, not just pasting them on the fence.

One woman, wearing a grey beanie and draped in an American flag, carried a sign that read: 'You're fired!' - a reference to Trump's catchphrase during his days on the television show, The Apprentice.

Another carried a poster depicting a cartoon of Trump carrying an upside-down Bible in one hand and a Ku Klux Klan cap in the other and read: 'Game Over Fascist Clown.'

On Friday morning, Biden took the lead in both Georgia and Pennsylvania - and is leading in two other swing states - putting in him in place to take the White House.

In Pennsylvania, Biden is ahead by 0.2 percentage points and more than 13,000 votes.

There are around 130,000 ballots left to count in Pennsylvania, with many of them from Democratic-heavy areas. such as Allegheny County, in which Pittsburgh is located, and the Philadelphia suburbs.

Of the five swing states that have not been called yet for either candidate, Pennsylvania is the largest prize with 20 electoral votes up for grabs.

Meanwhile, in Georiga, Biden is ahead by less than 0.1 percent and more than 1,500 votes.

According to an election official, the results of 5,000 votes are expected be known by late morning or early afternoon from Gwinnett County, a Democratic-leaning suburb outside of Atlanta.

This leaves a small number of absentee, provisional and overseas military ballots remain uncounted. However, because of the small percentage separating the candidates, there will be a recount.

Biden is also holding leads in Arizona and Nevada, at 1.3 percent and 1.6 percent ahead of Trump, respectively.

In Nevada, 90 percent of the remaining votes to be counted are in Clark County, home to Las Vegas, and a large Democratic population.

While Trump has managed to cut into Biden's lead in Arizona, he needed to win at least 60 percent of the recent ballot drop in Maricopa County, where Phoenix is located, and got in the low 50s.

Both states are expected to be called for Biden tonight, although it is worth noting The Associated Press and Fox News have both already called the state for him.

However, Trump has no plans to concede and continues to make false claims of widespread voter fraud and that he is a victim of a large conspiracy.

In a statement on Friday morning, the president's campaign team said the election was 'far from over' and that it was a 'false projection' that Biden would win.

'Biden is relying on these states for his phony claim on the White House, but once the election is final, President Trump will be re-elected,' Matt Morgan, his campaign general counsel, said.
