Former Kogi state governor, Idris Wada, is currently at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja for allegedly collecting N500 million from former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dieziani Alison-Madueke, to engineer PDP's victory in the presidential election in 2015.
Sources in the commission said Wada arrived the commission's headquarters in Abuja at about 12 noon yesterday and was interrogated late into the night.

Alison-Madueke allegedly released $115 million through Nenadi Usman, director of finance of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation for the 2015 elections. State governors reportedly received millions of Naira meant to be disbursed to their party stakeholders to ensure that the electorates vote for the party during the presidential elections.

Wada was governor between 2011 and 2015.
